What a nice experience! The person at the front desk of Hotel Indigo (where I was staying) suggested I walk over to Modesto for dinner. My plane had been delayed for 3 hours into Asheville and I was ready for some walking out in the fresh air and ended up being seated outside. It was fun to see all the activity on the street.
Started out with a nice lavender vodka drink, it was refreshing and light and not too sweet. The waiter brought out bread with pesto and it was the perfect way to start out my dinner.
There were so many good entrees to choose from, it was hard to decide! They print a new menu every day. I asked my waiter what he suggested and he said the Pink Snapper. I was not disappointed! It was perfect, so delicious and fresh.
I highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back! -

1. Hostess was kind, but the table we were given was never wiped off.
2. People who sat down after us were attended to before us.
3. Caesar salad not good. (Grilled romaine salad was great! Bread was good).
4. Waitress was not very personable.
5. Pizza was tasteless, and the scallop+softshell crab meal was mediocre. Who serves mini scallops anymore?
All in all, wouldn't recommend it. -

Excellent service and even better food. Everything from the vino to the appetizer to the entree was fantastic. We'll be back for sure. It's a little off the beaten path but oh so well worth it. Give it a try, you'll not be disappointed. By the way, the portions are huge!

Two words...crab cakes! Seriously those were by far the best crab cakes I think I have ever tasted! Bolagnese and eggplant parmesan were very excellent as well. A lot to choose on the menu so we'll definitely be back on our next trip to Asheville. Great service and great atmosphere as well.

Went here after realizing it was the same owner(s?) as Salsa (which we LOVE.) Another big winner here. I want to come back to try the pizza!
